“My son is now confident and proud, no longer embarrassed and frustrated. He can read/spell on or above grade level. His ability to research, read for entertainment and communicate through writing finally match his intelligence level.

I had previously tried many programs only to feel more frustrated and lost than when we started.  Lexercise therapy with coaching has completely changed the trajectory of my child’s reading and writing. We are a homeschool family. I noticed that my autistic son, who is very high functioning and intelligent, was struggling to read and spell. As a former teacher, I used the tools I knew and employed several other programs that only added to both of our frustration. A friend mentioned that her son was enrolled in Lexercise, so I decided to investigate yet another program. It took one meeting with our coach, Sybil to know that this was different. She was so personable and knowledgeable. My son was tested/leveled and we got straight to work. Our weekly meetings with Sybil were crucial so that I understood how to consistently support and teach him throughout the week. Her modeling made me feel confident to teach him week to week, with each new skill. Sybil was available to answer any questions I had throughout the week as well. During our meeting time she was engaging and [my son] looked forward to meeting with her each week. I am so proud to say the after 15 months of hard work, my son has graduated from Lexercise. Some tears may have been shed because we will miss our weekly meetings with Sybil, so the moment was bittersweet. The difference in his reading and writing skills are drastically improved so much so that he is reaching an above grade level mastery. I also feel confident that I have the tools to effectively help him continue to grow. Our foundation is strong, and we can now build on it. I am also able to transfer the skills I learned to teaching my younger child. I have personally taught from many curriculums in my profession as well as homeschool, and I can confidently say this is the most effective way to teach reading and spelling I have used. I wish all children learned this method from the start.”
